MBA Consulting Association

MBA consulting association is a student run association that facilitates a platform for students to explore and pursue consulting careers.  Through a series of workshops, personal mentoring and activities it engages its members to

  • Develop professional networks
  • Gain exposure to consulting careers
  • Provide resources for interviews and case competitions
  • Partner with other departments/associations for consulting work

Membership fee for two years is $50.

Officer Bios

Alina PospelovaMajaz Mohammed - President
Majaz Mohammed is the president of Consulting Association – Class of 2015. He is a supply chain professional with six years of experience in Supply Chain Management. He has prior work experience in Consulting and has helped clients in business process reengineering. His expertise includes Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Inventory Optimization. He is concentrating in Supply Chain Management and Corporate Finance and hopes to get back into Consulting after finishing his MBA at Smeal. As the president of the association, he is dedicated to furthering the interests of the association and helping each and every member in professional development.

Jimmy MathewVolha Taberka - VP Communications
Volha Taberka is the VP of Communications for the MBA Consulting Association. Prior to joining Smeal MBA Program, Volha worked as a Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator for SKF Eurotrade AB in Minsk, Belarus. Volha earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations from Belarusian State University and brings 5 years of experience in distribution and logistics to the Board. Volha is pursuing her MBA with concentrations in Supply Chain Management and Marketing.

MBA Class of 2015 student TJ ClarkTJ Clarke - VP Finance
TJ Clarke is the VP of Finance for the MBA Consulting Association. Prior to joining Smeal, TJ worked as a Project Management Consultant at IBM Global Business Services and as a Revenue Analyst at Johnson & Johnson. In the Summer of 2014, he will be joining Deloitte Consulting in their Federal practice. He received his undergraduate degree in Statistics from Penn State and is pursuing his MBA with concentrations in Finance, Supply Chain, and Strategic Leadership.

Raghavan ParthasarathyAnkit Chopra - VP Project Management
Ankit is the VP of Project Management for the class of 2015 MBA Consulting Association. Prior to enrolling in the Smeal MBA program, he has worked for more than five years with fortune 100 companies like American Express and Accenture. He has managed several internal consulting projects to drive operational efficiencies using data analytics and business insights. Ankit graduated from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, India with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication. At Smeal, he plans to focus on Strategic Leadership, Supply Chain Management and Marketing.
