Entrepreneurship is about capturing and capitalizing on opportunities. The Penn State Entrepreneurs Network (PSEN) is dedicated to empowering students with entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in new venture creation. The mission of PSEN is to promote personal and professional growth of our members through a distinguished lecture series, networking events, business plan competitions, and partnerships with the community.

Ankit Mahajan - PresidentPrior to coming to Smeal, Ankit had worked for more than three years in Engineering and Commercial Procurement, Supply Chain and Production Planning. He has worked in multiple fields including procurements, budgeting, operations and logistics at one of India’s largest automobile company and a private manufacturing enterprise. In 2011, he co-founded Grasshopper Webtech LLP, a web based startup focused on improving student experiences for K12 and higher education. At Smeal, he is concentrating in Supply Chain, Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Ankit graduated from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh, India with Bachelors in Engineering. |

Gary Lin - Vice PresidentGary is a graduate of University of Michigan where he studied Industrial and Operations Engineering. After graduating in 2006, he worked three years at Mary Washington Healthcare as an Industrial Engineer where he worked on numerous performance improvement projects. Prior to entering Smeal MBA, he worked a year at a small pharmaceutical company in Westbury, Long Island as a Quality Engineer. Here, he developed an interest in entrepreneurship as he witnessed the "growing pains" of a rapidly expanding enterprise. |
