  • State Theatre - Centre County's Community Performing Arts Center. Features concerts, theater performances, events, and movies.
  • Palmer Museum of Art - Free Admission Art Museum located on Penn State's Campus.
  • Center for Performing Arts - On campus performance center which features ballet, musical theater, plays, and orchestras. Ticket discounts offered for Penn State Students.
  • Pennsylvania Military Museum - Recounts the history of the military in Pennsylvania. Located in Boalsburg, the birthplace of Memorial Day.
  • People's Choice Festival - An arts and crafts festival held yearly in July in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. The festival also includes musicians and dancers.
  • The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts - An annual festival which features artisans from across the country. In addition to artwork that is available for sale, the festival also includes sand sculptures, musicians, and dance and theatrical performances.
  • First Night - A family oriented New Year celebration held on December 31 and January 1. Known for its ice sculptures which line the streets of downtown State College, the event also involves music, carriage rides, and a fireworks display.
  • The Central Pennsylvania 4th Fest - An event held on Penn State's campus each year to celebrate the 4th of July.  The celebration includes food, games, hot air balloon rides, and, of course, an elaborate fireworks display.

Dining & Entertainment

  • The Bryce Jordan Center - Concert and sports arena held on Penn State's campus. The Penn State Basketball games are held here along with performances from nationally recognized musicians and performers such as Will Ferrell, The Harlem Globetrotters, and Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood.
  • State College Spikes - A minor league baseball team which is affiliated with the major league team the Pittsburgh Pirates. Games are held on campus at Medlar Field.
  • Movie Theaters - A listing of movie theaters and movies playing in the State College area. The list is updated weekly every Friday before noon.
  • Dining - A dining guide which features restaurants in the State College area as well as in downtown State College.
